This week I found out about a Job opportunity with VSCO. Which got me 102347203984x more excited than the job posting for Kinfolk. I am working on my application which is an E-mail submitted explaining why you want the job and why VSCO should hire you.

I’m waiting on both to add the VSCO symbol, just haven’t gotten the chance to play around with it yet.

Wanting to know what people think about it.

HERES MY POTENTIAL EMAIL:

I decided to apply for the Office Manager position at Visual Supply Co. as well because as much as i love photography, I’d really rather work for them full time and be apart of their office staff. Running errands and organizing a team or artists and creators excites me a LOT, a LOT! Here are some of my application pictures:

i went a completely new route but trashed it for looking too similar to the first application and not creative enough.

this is the picture i decided on, added the VSCO logo and sent it in a email with the text to the right:

I like lists & I’m kind of a nerd.
I’d be in school my whole life if I could afford it.
I’m grateful to have paid $30,000+ out of my own pocket for college already and
I do own and use a budget book.
One summer I planned and prepped social events twice a week for 85 people.
I love throwing parties and getting to take pictures of all the pretties to look at.
I have a visual memory, Sherlock Holmes learned all he knows from me.
I like to travel; I think culture fosters wisdom.

Earlier in the fall I applied to be an Au’ Pair for one of the royal families in Saudi Arabia. This is the Resume I used (minus some details I edited for privacy and safety). I used a template in the Pages application on a Macbook pro. It was very basic, I just modified the layout and changed the colors for my liking.
